Xie Anshan graduated from the law department of the Northeast China People?s University in 1958 and has served in the judicial system as the vice-president of both the Jilin Provincial Higher People‘s Court and the Supreme People‘s Court. Xie has also served as the deputy secretary of the political science and law committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee. In addition to his work in the judiciary, Xie was a deputy to the 14th CPC National Congress and was a member of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.Xie is a member of the standing committee of the 9th NPC.
