Biography
Xu Fuming, male, Han nationality, is a native of Shanghai. He was born in 1946, and obtained a B.A. and a master's degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He is a professor of chemical engineering and he became president of Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2000.
Xu studied at the University of Lund in Sweden as a visiting scholar from 1987 to 1990. He has written several books including "Application of Explosive Materials in Industrial and Agricultural Production" and "Fundamental Theory for Propellant Charge Design".
