Xu Zhichun, male, Han nationality, is a native of Changsha, Hunan province. He was born in 1937, graduated from Wuhan University, and joined the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomingtang in 1986.
Xu taught in the physics department of Zhejiang University for over twenty years, and subsequently served as vice-chairman of the 6th to8th Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomingtang Zhejiang Provincial Committees. He was appointed vice-governor of Zhejiang province in 1993 and served a five year term.
Xu Zhichun was a member of the standing committee of the 8th CPPCC National Committee.
