Ye Liansong, male, Han nationality, is a native of Laiyang, Shandong province. He was born in 1935, joined the CPC in 1958, and graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University. Ye held leading posts in the Hebei provincial government, where he served as vice-governor until 1998. He was a member of the 15th CPC Central Committee and a member of the 9th and 10th standing committees of the CPPCC. He is currently a Vice-Chairman of the Subcommittee of Economy of the CPPCC National Committee.
