Biography
Zhang Shibo, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province. He was born in 1952 and joined army in 1970. He was an alternate member of the 17th CPC Central Committee. In 2008, Zhang was promoted to Commander of the PLA based at Hong Kong. In 2012 he became Commander, Beijing Military Region. He is now a member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and in 2015 he was promoted to General, PLA and President of the University of National Defense.
