Biography
Li Shiming, male, Han nationality, is a native of Santai County, Sichuan province. He was born in 1948, joined the CPC and PLA in 1968 and rose to the rank of lieutenant general in 2005. Li is a member of the 17th CPC Central Committee and Commander of Chengdu Military Region of PLA. During his long career, he has held important posts in the Shenyang, Beijing, and Chengdu Military Regions.
