Lin Nianxiu was born on 1963 in Shandong Province, Qixia County. He joined the CPC in 1983 and attended Xibei Telecommunication Engineering College. From 2007 to 2014 Lin was Vice-Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 2014 he became Vice-Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission. In 2015 he was named Deputy Director of the National Construction Leading Group for Manufacturing Powerful Country.
